The terms “joint disorder” or “arthropathy” refer to any functional deficit of the joints. There are infectious arthropathies (e.g. pyogenic, tubercular, and reactive arthritis) as well as inflammatory (e.g. rheumatism, psoriasis, gout) and non-inflammatory ones (e.g. osteoarthritis).
