Trauma/surgery

Outpatient trauma surgery includes all surgical and conservative measures aimed at restoring and maintaining structures damaged by trauma. Most of these injuries involve the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons).

Special challenges are involved in the treatment of children’s growing organisms in pediatric trauma surgery. Fractures caused by tumors (pathological fractures) are another challenging field.
